Maintenance, maintenance, maintenance

If it gurgles, then vent radiators! (up to 15% reduction)
Have the heating system serviced 1x/year (such as hydraulic balancing, pump)
Reduce flow temperature (up to 20% savings)
Dismantling thermal bridges (e.g. roller shutter boxes, heating niches)
Insulate pipes (up to 8% reduction)
